Ultherapy
Our life experiences are often etched in the wrinkles on our faces. As we age, the collagen-scaffolding and adipose tissue supporting our skin slowly deteriorates. As a result, the skin loses its structure and begins to sag.
Utherapy is a non-surgical intervention where focused ultrasound waves specifically target this ‘tired’ collagen framework underneath our skin.
How its done?
Using a small handheld device, focused sound waves gently heat the tissue underneath the skin. This heat causes the skin to respond and deposit new collagen in the supportive tissue underneath. This new collagen lifts and tightens loose skin without disrupting or cutting the skin surface.
The procedure often takes 30-60minutes with minimal discomfort. No anesthesia is required.

Am I a candidate?
This procedure is generally limited to tightening the skin of the face and neck. If you are in good general health and have specific but realistic goals for the improvement of your appearance… this procedure may be for you.
Post-operative course
The application of ultrasound technology has proven to be extremely safe. Patients experience minimal discomfort and are able to return to their regular activities immediately. Any initial redness from the ultrasound application quickly disappears. While there may be some initial positive results from the therapy, the full effects become visible as the collagen is deposited over the next 2-3 months. To maintain the full results, many patients may require annual ‘touch-up’ procedures.
